MAF Gainesville Meeting Notes

Attendees: Kem Magnant – Vulcan Materials, Jeremy Howard – Cemex, Chris Anderson – Cemex, Jerry Painter – Painter Masonry, Jim Allen – JAM Construction, Thomas Moss – Allan Spear Construction, Allan Spear – Allan Spear Construction, Eric Goettling – Van Goettling Masonry Inc.
Jim Allen – welcomed everyone to the meeting.
Jerry Painter gave an update of the long range planning committee. Jerry also talked about the new dues structure for masonry contractors.
Discussion was held on asking Chip Sykes to remain in the association and pay him a small stipend to call on architects and engineers in the Gainesville area.
Kem talked about the upcoming “Masonry Field Day”. The flyer was passed around and dates were discussed.
Jim Allen talked about the convention and distributed the MAF awards book.
